Year 7 is coming to QASMT in 2019 as part of the Building Future Schools program

The Queensland Academy for Science, Mathematics and Technology  is proud to be part of the Building Future Schools (BFS) program. As part of the approach to inner-city schooling, the Building Future Schools program is enhancing school infrastructure, building and strengthening strategic partnerships and developing and refining long-term master plans to support state schools as part of Brisbane’s changing landscape. As part of the program, we will be opening positions for Year 7 in 2019.

The Queensland Academy for  Science, Mathematics & Technology is a state school for highly-capable students in Years 10 to 12. The campus is located in the inner city suburb of leafy Toowong, in Brisbane, Australia. From 2019 the campus will also include Year 7 students who will study the Middle Years Programme (MYP) of the International Baccalaureate Organisation.

At QASMT our focus is helping students reach their full potential. This is achieved through the rigorous academic programme, a focus on the holistic education of every student and the outstanding commitment of our staff.
