Our Record
The Queensland Academy for Science, Mathematics and Technology is proud of its academic record. We continually challenge every student to reach their potential by setting high academic goals and expectations. The hard work and dedication of our students, teachers and our community have yielded outstanding results since our Academy saw its first graduates complete their Diploma Programme studies in 2008.
In 2012, our students consistently exceeded the world-wide average resulting in 18% of our students achieving a 40 or higher IB Diploma score (compared to the world average of 10%). Locally, our students' achievements were also enviable as 41% of our IB Diploma Programme students achieved a selection rank of 99 (OP1 equivalent). 100% of our Academy graduates also received a tertiary offer.
