ANSTO Big Ideas Forum brings QASMT students to Sydney

QASMT Year 10 students, David Nguyen, Vivian Su and Dr Kirsten Hogg are attending the Australian Nuclear Science & Technology (ANSTO) Big Ideas Forum. In the photo they have just toured the ANSTO site, the current radioactivity reading of the reactor room was 0.4 microsieverts – a safe reading.

David and Vivian were one of the 11 pairs of students who won the chance after submitting 40-second videos where they outlined the problem they hoped science would solve in the future. – They want to know whether there could be a way for nuclear energy to be produced without the current side effects.
