QASMT students Skye, Yujin and Ben are excited to be attending the Japan Super Science Fair hosted by Ritsumeikan High School in Japan. There are 44 schools attending from 22 countries.

On the first day, students were welcomed by their buddy, Ayane and attended the opening ceremony. They then spent the afternoon building a Japanese paper robot called Craftel in the first Science showdown

Today Yujin, Ben and Skye gave their oral presentation to an audience of students, teachers and university academics.  They presented the results of a solar tracking robot built by Ben to increase the power output of a solar panel.  They received very positive feedback from the audience.

Note: our students are wearing slippers, as students must leave their shoes at the door!
