QASMT students Nana Hayashi, Sahil Sareen and Maverick Ang were given the opportunity to take part in the Griffith University Business Workshop Program. The program consisted of three workshops situated in Griffith Nathan Campus spanning over four months. Each student was given the option to take part in the Commerce Strand, Business Management Strand or Tourism, Hotel and Sport Management Strand. The three QASMT students took part in the Commerce strand and were all successful in achieving high distinctions (7) for the course. This gives them Guaranteed Offer of Entry into the Griffith Business School degree or double degree of their choice.
Each workshop consisted of attending lectures and tutorials from Griffith University business professors and learning content based on the strand. The Year 12 students learnt about Accounting, Financial Planning and Economics. At the end of each workshop, the students were given an exam based on the content learnt on the day and were given the opportunity to collaborate and compete with other students from other state and private high schools.
