Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) Achievement Awards

Congratulations to 2016 Graduate, Isabella Juria on receiving the Highest Achievement Award from the QCE in the International Baccalaureate section. Education Minister Kate Jones recognised the state’s top Year 12 graduates from the class of 2016 at the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) Achievement Awards on Saturday 18 February.

In a ceremony at the State Library in South Bank, Minister Jones congratulated 34 students from 28 state and non-state schools across Queensland for their exceptional academic results. “These awards, hosted by the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA), are a very important event on the academic calendar,” Ms Jones said. “It’s a chance for us to stop and honour the hard work and dedication of our highest-achieving graduates and to thank their family members, teachers and friends who supported them during their studies.”
