QUT High School STEM Research Internships

Congratulations to Utkarsh Sharma and Jack Flynn, who will both be completing QUT High School STEM Research Internships over the Easter break. This is a highly competitive program, with hundreds of students from across Queensland applying for places each year. The Internship program develops students’ technical, leadership and critical thinking skills through a suite of on-campus practical learning, professional development and external assessment. During the week-long experience at QUT, Gardens Point Campus, students work in small groups on a research project based on the work of leading QUT STEM experts. Utkarsh will be completing an Astrophysics Placement with Dr Sean Powell, while Jack is undertaking an Australian Centre for Robotic Vision Project Placement with Dr Timothy Molloy. We look forward to hearing all about your experiences.
