STEM Girls at SPARQ-ed

Today is the first day of the STEM Girl Power Camp as part of the World Science Festival Brisbane. Congratulations to our Year 10 STEM Girl Power hosts. The third annual camp is now in full swing with 56 girls from all over the state working in the laboratories at SPARQ-ed today. As some of the girls commented, “The camp has been eye opening so far and it is an inspirational opportunity to work with other students who are like-minded.”

Our QASMT Year 10 hosts are:

Vaishnavi Dalvi, Evelyn Dekker, Eloise Johnson, Elizaveta Leach, Katriona Wheadon, Cheryn Kim, Erin Sebastian and Lurissa Masters, who are looking forward to working with our Year 11 STEM Ambassadors throughout 2018 as the regional girls develop their projects in their home environments.
