Tanae Rao selected as one of top 12 debating students in Queensland

Congratulations to Tanae Rao who has been selected as one of the top 12 students trialing for the Queensland State Debating Team. Over 160 students were involved in the trials process this year, making selection into the final 12 a significant achievement.

Over a three week period, students have been engaged in an intensive training process that is designed to improving their debating skills and assist us as team coaches to select the team. At the conclusion of this process four students will be selected to represent Queensland in the National Schools Debating Championships, held in Darwin in May this year.

The selection process culminates in Selection Night, which this year is being held on Monday March 25th at the University of Queensland, Abel Smith Lecture Theatre.
