Each year we enter student projects in Science and Mathematics into to the Science Teachers Association of Queensland (STAQ) Science Competition. In 2022 QASMT students had projects entered in the following categories: Science Investigations, Mathematics Investigations, Communicating Science and Poster Presentation. We had 50 entries from individuals and groups and 31 students have received a prize – congratulations!

Rohan S, Andre G and Esha'al C (Year 10) – Second place for their communicating science 'Asteriod Mining'
Kelvin C (Year 10) – Prize winner in both science and mathematics investigations and winner or Australian Acoustical Society Bursary
