Congratulations Jia
It is with great pleasure and pride that I share the news of Jia's extraordinary achievement, receiving a prestigious scholarship from the Goethe Institut. This esteemed German international cultural exchange, language, and relations association, invited high school students Australia-wide to apply for a scholarship to a two-week summer youth camp in Salzburg, Austria.
Out of eight German students in Years 10 and 11 who applied for this scholarship, Jia's exemplary dedication and talent shone brightly. Progressing to the interview stage and subsequently being notified as one of only six scholarship recipients Australia-wide, Jia's acceptance is a testament to her remarkable commitment to linguistic proficiency, personal growth, and global citizenship.
We applaud Jia's remarkable achievement, and commend her for embracing this unique opportunity to immerse herself in German language and culture. May this experience in Salzburg serve as a catalyst for further academic and personal growth, enriching Jia's journey as a global citizen.
Congratulations Aaron
In another inspiring tale of success, I am thrilled to announce that Aaron has emerged victorious in the regional final for Lions Youth of the Year. The Lions Youth of the Year program, with its proud history of fostering leadership skills in Australian students, provides a platform for our young leaders to excel.
Aaron's outstanding performance in the regional final showcased his contributions to the community and school, portrayed his public speaking prowess, academic excellence, and diverse involvements in sports and culture. Overall, his performance exemplifies the qualities of a true leader. As he progresses to the District Finals in Toowoomba these school holidays, we extend our heartfelt support and encouragement.
We wish Aaron all the very best in the upcoming finals, and we thank you for inspiring others to embrace leadership opportunities and to strive for excellence in all endeavors.
