The term is in motion.

Week 3 brings a sense of focus. The term is in motion, and across the school there is a consistency in the way students are approaching their learning and their involvement in school life. There is less settling, more doing.

More engagement in the moments that make up each day.

The term is in motion, and across the school there is a consistency in the way students are approaching their learning and their involvement in school life. There is less settling, more doing.

More engagement in the moments that make up each day.

The Escape Rooms brought a different kind of challenge. Students worked together under pressure, solving problems, testing ideas, and learning to listen as much as they lead. There was a calm intensity in these moments, mixed with laughter and the satisfaction that comes from persistence and teamwork.

Our International Futsal World Cup continues to create a strong sense of energy across the school. Teams come together in friendly competition, representing countries with pride and enthusiasm. It is not only about the games themselves, but the spirit around them. Encouragement from the sidelines, shared excitement, and a genuine sense of belonging.

Our teachers played superbly to win 2 matches!

In the Big Science Competition, students were asked to think carefully and apply their knowledge in unfamiliar ways. These are the moments where learning deepens. Where students move beyond recall and into reasoning. It is encouraging to see students take on these challenges with focus and curiosity, understanding that not every question has an immediate answer.

Our Annual Mother's Day Stall added a lighter, thoughtful touch to the week. Students and staff were invited to choose gifts for the important people in their lives who support, encourage, and care for them. In these small acts of consideration, there was a quiet reminder that community is strengthened not only through shared experiences, but through acts of kindness and gentle words to each other.

In that same spirit, we acknowledge and thank our valued Parent Representatives for their continued support of the Academy community. Their generosity of time, care, and commitment plays an important role in helping foster connection and belonging across the school.

Thank you!

Across all these moments, there is a common thread. Students engaging, contributing, and finding their place within the life of the school. Not every moment is large or highly visible, but together they create something meaningful and lasting.

As the term continues, we are reminded to value significant events and more everyday experiences.

As Helen Keller once said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."

This sense of togetherness remains at the heart of QASMT.

Warm regards,
