2008 Graduate Ganesh Jegatheesan

Ganesh graduated from QASMT in 2008 and was President of the Academy Representative Council (ARC). After Year 12, Ganesh studied a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at The University of Queensland, and later graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Master of Laws. Whilst at UQ, he was elected President of the University of Queensland Law Society in 2012.


After working as a Policy Adviser in Federal Parliament to the Honourable Mark Dreyfus QC MP, Ganesh worked at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and as a Senior Associate to the Honourable Justice Sifris and the Honourable Justice Croft at the Supreme Court of Victoria. He is presently a Barrister at the Victorian Bar with a broad commercial practice specialising in corporations and securities, banking and financial services, equity and trusts and common law proceedings. He is also a Law Reporter for the Australian Corporations and Securities Reports.​​​​​​
