The Australian Esports League (AEL) ran two Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (SSBU) tournaments on the weekend - the open tournament that anyone could enter, and the high school only one.
In the open SSBU tournament, I didn't do as well as in the high school only one. It was my first offline tournament against other people; it was fun, and I am interested in going to another one, possibly during the holidays.
For the High School only one, I placed first. It wasn't as challenging, so it wasn't as fun as the open tournament! It was still cool to get to know some of the competitors and to win the prizes.
I won a Mousepad, medal and headset. The high school bracket doesn't have an online result on challenge like the open tournament does.
