On Sunday, the QASMT team Vegemight attended the First Lego League (FLL) National Championships. The competition involves students building and designing a robot capable of completing a series of challenges, as well as the design and presentation of an innovative project addressing the use of energy in modern society. Team Vegemight recently won the regional tournament securing them an invitation to compete at the national level.
Vegemight worked hard, and wowed the judges with their innovation project, and scored impressively on the game table. At the end of the day, the team took home the Robot Design Award. This is presented to the team that uses outstanding programming and engineering practices to develop a robot that is mechanically sound, durable, efficient and highly capable.
